ICC Sets Up Committee to Devise Viable Test Championship

A Test championship could become a opportunity in the near future and the ICC seem to be taking into account the ambition of the cricket playing nations and the FICA for a transform.
Haroon Lorgat ,ICC chief executive stated the same when handing the club over to the Indian captain, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, as India went to the top of the ICC Test rankings.
Lorgat said a committee of five was formed to find a possible format for a Test championship which would bring about a greater uniform to the number of Tests being played between teams at regular time to verify a better way to find the top team in the world.
It would aim to answer the concerns of FICA that more influence was being brought to bear upon the Twenty20 format, mainly so the IPL, instead of focussing on guarantee a more reasonable Future Tours Programme (FTP) post 2012.
